Our hormones that are sometimes called "feel-good hormones" can cause a chemical off balance in promoting happiness and pleasure, and reduce anxiety and depression.
Each hormone has different effects:
Dopamine: Supports feelings of motivation and reward
Serotonin: maintain emotions
Endorphins: increases happiness levels, improve self-esteem, and ease stress, anxiety, and depression
Oxytocin: the "love" hormone, it can give you a feeling of pleasure from connection and affection
